1619. Definition of current instantiation

Section:  [temp.dep.type]     Status: open     Submitter: Johannes Schaub     Date: 2013-02-04

The definition of the current instantiation, given in [temp.dep.type] paragraph 1, is phrased in terms of the meaning of a name (“A name refers to the current instantiation if it is...”); it does not define when a type is the current instantiation. Thus the interpretation of *this and of phrases like “member of a class that is the current instantiation” is not formally specified.
